Rough Times in Osaka – Rough Draft

What you see here is the “work-in-progress”. The words here are damn close to something that could best be described as “word vomit”, as, for the most part, even I haven’t read them yet. Consequently, expect to find errors in spelling or punctuation and some parts that are horribly, awkwardly phrased. [My internal term is “rough draft”. Some time after they get reviewed by my assistant, I will do a re-read and clean things up to generate something I consider a “first draft”.]

The aforementioned “word vomit” isn’t necessarily going up in sequential order. (One great feature of Scrivener is the ease with which a writer can bounce around as they want / need to within something they’re writing.)

To assist with a casual (?) onlooker, here is a list of the rough draft chapters in sequence. Don’t look at any of the other “Osaka” posts if you don’t want to, potentially, read a bunch of out-of-context, out-of-sequence stuff that will only confuse and bewilder you…

The End of A Regular Day

Falling to Rock Bottom [Warning – this chapter is emotionally brutal. Consider yourself warned.]

Epilogue: Kitamora-Oyabun

As a status mark for the curious, the rough draft weighed in at approximately 55K words (give or take a few thousand here and there).
